Our client is seeking a Purchasing Supervisor to join their team in Mississauga, ON. Visa sponsorship is potentially available for international applicants, including candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Job Details

Responsibilities

• Purchase general and specialized equipment, materials, or business services
• Assess requirements to develop specifications for purchases
• Negotiate offers from suppliers and consult with them
• Hire, train, and supervise staff
• Review quotations and determine contract terms
• Award contracts and establish delivery schedules
• Monitor progress of deliveries and resolve client/supplier issues
• Plan and organize operational logistics
• Provide customer service

Supervision

• Supervise a team of 3-4 people

Qualifications

Education

• College/CEGEP

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years in a related field.
