Job Details

• Location: North York, ON
• Work Location: On-site
• Salary: $60.00 CAD per hour / 30 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time

Responsibilities

• Assign projects and programs to the purchasing and warehouse departments.
• Coordinate activities of personnel engaged in buying and selling materials and supplies.
• Evaluate daily operations and plan/control budget and expenditures.
• Review purchase order claims and contracts for compliance.
• Hire, train, and motivate staff.
• Implement purchasing policies and procedures.
• Evaluate the cost and quality of goods/services.
• Manage contracts and review claims against suppliers.
• Oversee preparation of reports and advise senior management.
• Lead sales team in client relationship building and contract negotiations.
• Organize and maintain inventory.

Supervision

• Supervise 5-10 staff members.

Experience and Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree
• Experience: 2 to less than 3 years in purchasing, procurement, and contracts.
• Languages: Proficiency in English.
