We are expanding our team and looking for an experienced Production Manager to oversee our repair operations and ensure the continued excellence of our products and services.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Production Manager to lead our jewelry repair team. This role requires an individual with a strong background in jewelry repair processes, team leadership, and operational management. As a key part of our leadership team, the Production Manager will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations, high-quality repair, and efficient workflow, all while maintaining a positive environment for our staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day production operations, including the repair and restoration of fine jewelry.
  • Supervise and lead a team of jewelers and technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Oversee repair schedules to ensure timely and efficient completion of customer orders.
  • Maintain quality control throughout the repair process to ensure that all work meets industry standards.
  • Collaborate with the customer service team to ensure proper communication with clients regarding timelines and expectations.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are adhered to in the workplace.
  • Implement best practices for inventory management of repair materials and tools.
  • Drive continuous improvements in operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Handle special repair requests and coordinate with clients as needed.

    • Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a jewelry repair company or related fields.
  • Experience managing production or repair teams, ideally in a jewelry or luxury goods environment.
  • Knowledge of technical skills in jewelry repair, including soldering, supplying materials, stone setting, polishing, rhodium, and more (certificates in jewelry repair preferred).
  • Excellent organizational skills and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and guide the team.
  • Knowledge of jewelry, health, and safety standards in the workplace based on experience or training if needed.
  • Familiarity with inventory control and supply chain management based on experience or training if needed.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards of quality.

    • Additional Requirements:

  • Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.
  • Language of work: English strong in verbal and writing.
  • Location of work: Markham (must be willing to relocate if needed).
