Job Overview

The Product Manager is responsible for product innovation and managing the company’s suite of products throughout the product lifecycle. The role requires close collaboration with Marketing, Sales, Underwriting, and OEM to achieve revenue and customer satisfaction goals. This business leader will oversee product strategy, design, P&L, stakeholder relationships, and product releases.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead product development and manage products through their life-cycle, engaging cross-functional departments to execute on our vision.
• Act as the consumer voice and advocate within the organization, ensuring stakeholder needs are met while enhancing the consumer experience.
• Become the product subject matter expert, gaining a thorough understanding of the existing product suite.
• Execute research plans to ensure products remain relevant and competitive.
• Create business and project plans for the launch of new products and enhancements.
• Lead cross-functional teams to manage timelines and deliverables.
• Communicate with external stakeholders and gather requirements for marketing efforts.
• Serve as the main contact for cross-functional projects and product launches.
• Manage the review and approval process with team leads/managers.
• Communicate any changes in commitments or timelines to stakeholders.
• Build and maintain reports, plans, guides, manuals, and documentation.
• Proofread and test deliverables for accuracy.

• Proficient project management skills and with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Education

• Post-secondary education in Business Administration or related discipline.
• Completion of the Life License Qualification Program (LLQP) is an asset.

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in marketing and product management.
• Exposure to F&I related products in the automotive industry is an asset.
