Job Description

As a Procurement Specialist, you will support the procurement process across various projects. You will manage end-to-end procurement processes autonomously and ensure effective communication and alignment with key stakeholders, such as the Project Management Office (PMO) and the engineering, legal, and finance teams. You will work closely with subcontractors, negotiate contracts, place purchase orders (POs), and assist engineering, planning, and project estimation teams. Additionally, you will monitor and report on subcontractor tender and project status to ensure alignment with overall project goals and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement activities to meet specific project needs, including supplier identification, proposal issuance (RFPs), and obtaining quotes for required goods and services.
• Negotiate terms and conditions with subcontractors and suppliers for favorable pricing and contract compliance.
• Draft, review, and issue POs and contracts, ensuring adherence to internal policies and legal requirements.
• Collaborate with PMO and teams from engineering, legal, and finance to ensure alignment on procurement strategies and compliance.
• Serve as the main contact for subcontractors, ensuring clear communication regarding terms and deliverables.
• Assist project estimation teams with procurement-related information to accurately estimate costs.
• Monitor and report on subcontractor tender status, ensuring timely processing within budget.
• Track procurement performance, ensuring all materials and services meet contractual obligations.
• Proactively identify and resolve issues related to procurement activities.
• Maintain detailed records of procurement, including contracts and supplier communications.
• Ensure compliance with legal, environmental, and company policies throughout procurement processes.

Skills and Qualifications

• 7 to 10 years of experience in a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, finance, administration, engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong bilingual communication skills.
• Good vendor management and contract negotiation skills.
• Proficient in analytical work using tools such as Excel and PowerPoint.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $97,000.00 – $120,000.00/year.
