Responsibilities

• Compute dimensions and tolerances of machine parts
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables
• Repair machine tools and parts
• Set up and adjust production machineries/tools
• Maintain, repair and calibrate precision measuring instruments
• Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances
• Verify dimensions using precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers)
• Set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools
• Ensure accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments

Experience and Specialization

• Measuring Tools: Micrometers, Calipers, Gauges, Verniers
• Equipment and Machinery Experience: Cylindrical grinders, Drill presses, Engine lathes, Milling machines, Sawing machine, Tool grinders

Transportation/Travel Information

• Own transportation required

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

• Ability to work independently
• Tight deadlines
• Standing for extended periods
• Attention to detail
• Weight handling up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
