Job Details
- Location: Penticton, BC
- Work Setting: On-site at various locations
- Salary: $31.00 hourly
- Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time

Responsibilities
- Install domestic, commercial, or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems
- Repair domestic, commercial, or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems
- Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout of plumbing systems
- Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures
- Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes
- Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or other methods
- Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
- Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing
- Estimate costs and materials
- Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required shape and size
Work Environment
- Confined spaces
- Wet/damp conditions
Qualifications
- Languages: English
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required
- Experience: 2 to less than 3 years
- Transportation/Travel: Valid driver’s licence is required
