This rural generalist Physiotherapist II position provides physiotherapy services to clients primarily in an outpatient setting and coverage for acute care services as part of an interdisciplinary team.
As a Physiotherapist II, you will provide coordination of physiotherapy and other allied health clinical services. You will provide supervision of students and team members as assigned. You will work both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team providing leadership to other healthcare professionals.

You will make decisions and advise team members on complex clinical cases and provide clinical leadership within the program or service area to ensure safe, efficient, and effective client care.
You will ensure physiotherapy practice is evidence-based and in alignment with Alberta legislation and regulations, professional standards of practice, code of ethics, and policy and guidelines. Additionally, you will coordinate the day-to-day operations of an assigned service area and monitor care delivery, identifying service needs and assisting other medical staff with caseload management. This includes completing chart audits and providing follow-up and feedback to staff.
You will participate in program development and operational planning, representing the department on committees or programs. You will make decisions on staffing level requirements, workflow, and caseload priorities in collaboration with managers and other healthcare providers.
Our client is dedicated to supporting our Physiotherapists in their practice area and expanding their skill sets regardless of location.
