Overview

Our client is seeking dedicated Personal Support Workers to provide home support services. This position offers opportunities for international candidates, as visa sponsorship may be considered.

Job Details

• Location: 1900 City Park Drive suite 3rd floor office 321, Gloucester, ON, K1J 1A3
• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $36.10 per hour (35 hours per week)
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
• Special Commitments: Overtime required, Early morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend shifts
• Vacancies: 5

Responsibilities

• Administer bedside and personal care
• Administer medications
• Assist clients with bathing and personal hygiene
• Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walking
• Change non-sterile dressings
• Collect specimens
• Feed or assist in feeding
• Launder clothing and household linens
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
• Plan therapeutic diets and menus
• Provide companionship
• Shop for food and household supplies
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals

Requirements

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Languages: English
• Experience: Will train

• Bending, crouching, kneeling
