Job Overview

Our client is seeking a dedicated Personal Care Provider to join their home care team. This position is suitable for local candidates and other candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit. Immigration support is potentially available for qualified applicants.

Job Details

• Location: Surrey, BC
• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $24.00 per hour for 40 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent employment, Full time
• Special Commitments: Morning, Day, Evening, Flexible hours
• Vacancies: 1

Responsibilities

• Administer bedside and personal care
• Administer medications
• Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
• Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk
• Change non-sterile dressings
• Collect specimens
• Feed or assist in feeding
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
• Provide companionship
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high school graduation certificate)
• Experience: Will train
• Languages: English

Work Setting

• Relocation costs covered by employer
• Employer’s home
