Position Overview

Our client is seeking a Pediatric Physician for a permanent position located in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. This role may provide LMIA visa support for qualified international candidates.

Education Requirements

• Medical Degree.
• 3-year Pediatric Medicine Residency (CCFP).

Scope of Work

• Consult patients on family medicine related cases to evaluate patients’ physical and mental health.
• Order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures to determine the most appropriate medical treatment.
• Prescribe and administer medications and treatments.
• Carry out in-office procedures.
• Collect medical information from patients, family members, or other medical professionals.
• Help patients develop total wellness habits, break old habits, and reshape their approach to wellness.
• Supervise staff.

Experience

Minimum 12 months experience (preferably within a family medicine setting).

Schedule

• Flex schedule.
• M-F.
• 35 to 50 hours per week.

Workplace

Pay

CA$300,000 – CA$500,000.
