This is a great opportunity for a Patient Care Coordinator role with our client. Immigration support may be available for qualified candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

• Location: 1900 Walkers Line, Burlington, ON, L7M 4W5
• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $36.10 per hour, 35 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full time
• Special Commitments: Morning, Day, Evening

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the movement of patients through the health care system.
• Employ creative problem solving for process improvement in bed assignment, transfer, patient flow, and resource utilization.
• Ensure that appropriate administrative procedures are followed.
• Ensure quality nursing care is provided to patients.
• Administer budget and maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
• Assist in the establishment of unit policies and procedures.
• Assist in the selection, evaluation, and professional development of personnel.
• Set up and coordinate nursing services in conjunction with other health services.
• Supervise registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and other nursing personnel.

Supervision

• Supervision of 5-10 people.

Qualifications

• Languages: English
• Education: College/CEGEP
• Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
