Position Overview:

Our client is seeking a skilled painter for a permanent, full-time role located in North York, ON. We welcome applications from Canadian citizens, permanent or temporary residents, and other candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Job Details

• Location: North York, ON
• Salary: $36.00 per hour
• Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent full-time
• Special Commitments: Day, Evening, Morning shifts available
• Vacancies: 1

Responsibilities

The painter will be responsible for:

• Preparing, cleaning, and sanding surfaces to be painted
• Repairing cracks and holes
• Mixing paint to desired color and texture
• Measuring, cutting, and applying wallpaper and other fabrics to walls
• Advising consumers on colors and choice of wall coverings
• Erecting scaffolding and swing stages and attaching rigging
• Applying paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces
• Estimating costs and materials

Qualifications

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year

Languages: English
