Job Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Organizer, Special Events to join their team. This position offers potential visa sponsorship for international applicants, including candidates with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

• Location: Mirabel, QC

• Salary: $34.84 per hour, 40 hours per week
• Employment Type: Permanent, Full time
• Special Commitments: Day, Evening, Weekend, Early Morning, Morning

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire and supervise staff and/or volunteers
• Coordinate and monitor conference and meeting activities and attend to related details
• Coordinate set-ups, staging, seating, parking, communication systems and other details for special events
• Plan schedules, goals and objectives
• Plan for required documentation and for pre- and post-distribution of documentation (itineraries, evaluations, etc.)
• Manage Event Logistics
• Identify human resources requirements
• Supervise office and volunteer staff
• Supervise staff

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
• Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
• Languages: French; English is an asset
