As an Occupational Therapist II, you will work independently and collaboratively within a dynamic inter-professional team, delivering client-centered care to adult patients. Your responsibilities will involve assessing individual needs based on abilities and participation and implementing safe, quality programs aimed at enhancing optimal patient function. You will develop partnerships with other health providers, focusing on prevention, protection, treatment, and promotion across the continuum of services.
Description:In this role, you will coordinate occupational therapy and allied health clinical services within a designated program or service area. You will provide supervision to students and team members as assigned and will play an integral part in an interdisciplinary team, providing leadership to healthcare professionals. Your clinical decision-making will cover patient/family needs, assessments, interventions, discharge, and follow-ups.

Required Qualifications:Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program, or a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program along with relevant experience. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT).
Additional Required Qualifications:As required.
Preferred Qualifications:Previous community experience preferred. Rural experience is an asset. AADL Authorization is an asset.
