Job Overview

Position: Mechanical Engineer

Location: Vancouver, BC

Work Setting: On site, Engineering firm. Willing to relocate.

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full time (40 hours per week)

Salary: $130,000 to $160,000 annually (to be negotiated)

Responsibilities

• Conduct research into the feasibility, design, operation, and performance of mechanisms, components, and systems.
• Analyze dynamics and vibrations of mechanical systems and structures.
• Investigate mechanical failures or unexpected maintenance problems.
• Plan and manage projects, and prepare material, cost, and timing estimates, reports, and design specifications for machinery and systems.
• Develop risk management plans.
• 3D printing.

Experience and Specialization

Education: Bachelor’s degree

Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years.

• ANASYS
