Job Opportunity: Caregiver for Senior with Dementia

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and mature individual to assist our client’s 84-year-old mother who is living with dementia. This role involves providing essential support in daily living activities.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with personal hygiene and dressing
  • Prepare meals and manage medication
  • Engage and maintain meaningful activities
  • Perform housekeeping duties, including laundry and vacuuming
  • Maintain a clean and safe home environment

    • Schedule and Hours

  • Full-time position: 40-50 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday
  • Flexible scheduling options available: Morning, Afternoon, Evening, Overnight

    • Compensation

  • Salary: Negotiable based on experience
  • Room and board provided

    • Additional Requirements

  • Non-smoker
  • No pets in the home
  • Willing to consider candidates without prior work papers for sponsorship through LMIA

    • Experience and Skills

  • Experience with dementia care preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a nurturing demeanor
