Primary Responsibilities

• Coordinating development, organization, and production of proposals.
• Evaluating RFP requirements/evaluation criteria for compliance, preparing qualification materials specific to solicitations and writing/editing proposal sections.
• Developing and managing the marketing schedule for proposals and other time-sensitive deliverables.
• Coordinating marketing meetings and conference calls.
• Tracking opportunities and maintaining client databases.
• Maintaining marketing databases and associated materials to support client and opportunity development for the marketing program.
• Developing and updating the marketing library of materials including resumes, project descriptions, and presentations.
• Coordinating other marketing activities such as conferences, events, industry participation, and strategic planning.
• Assisting with marketing-related ads, materials, and sponsorship as needed.
• Contacting sub consultants to coordinate materials and fees.
• Assisting with the initial set-up of project schedules and budgets.
• Completing quality documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Psychology, Journalism, English, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in proposals, preferably in an engineering consulting environment.
• Expertise in MS Office and InDesign.
• Superior writing and editing skills in the English language.
• Ability to multi-task and manage several projects simultaneously.
• Comfortable communicating and collaborating with individuals at all organizational levels.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Very detail-oriented with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Experience meeting firm deadlines.
• Results-oriented with a high work ethic, stringent quality standards, and a can-do attitude.

Required Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including InDesign.
