Position: Manufacturer’s Sales Representative

Location: Waterloo, ON

Work Location: On site

Salary: $35.50 per hour / 37.5 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Estimate costs of installing equipment.
• Quote prices, credit or contract terms, trade-in allowances, warranties, and delivery dates.
• Identify and solicit potential clients.
• Assess client’s needs to recommend appropriate goods or services.
• Develop reports and proposals illustrating benefits of goods or services.
• Prepare and administer sales contracts.
• Provide input into product design tailored to client’s needs.
• Consult with clients post-sale for ongoing support.
• Review product innovations, competitors, and market conditions.
• Train customers’ staff on operation and maintenance of equipment.
• Provide clients with presentations on benefits and uses of goods or services.
• Troubleshoot equipment-related problems.
• Supervise activities of other technical sales specialists.

Education and Experience

• Education: College/CEGEP.
