Job Details

• Location: West St. Paul, MB
• Workplace: On-site
• Salary: $30.00 hourly for 40 to 50 hours per week
• Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
• Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
• Perform emergency roadside repairs.
• Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, and oversee all aspects of the vehicle.
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Experience: Experience is an asset.
• Languages: English
• Certificates:
  • Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks).
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement.
