• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $30.25 per hour / 40 to 50 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full time

Overview

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: Experience is an asset
• Work Type: Must be completed at the physical location; no remote work option available

Responsibilities

• Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions using GPS or navigation devices to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions
• Address customers’ complaints or concerns professionally
• Load and unload goods
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
• Oversee vehicle condition and conduct safety inspections
• Perform emergency roadside repairs and pre-trip inspections
• Record cargo information, hours of service, and fuel consumption
• Ensure safety and security of cargo

Credentials

• Air Brakes Endorsement
• Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks)
