• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $30.16 hourly / 40 to 50 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full time
• Special Commitments: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, Overtime available

Overview

• Languages: English
• Education: No degree, certificate or diploma
• Experience: Will train
• On Site: Work must be completed at the physical location; there is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
• Load and unload goods
• Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
• Perform emergency roadside repairs
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled and fuel consumption

Credentials

• Driver’s License (Class 1 or A)

• Security and Safety: Driving record check (abstract)
• Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver’s license required
• Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
