Overview

Our client is seeking candidates for the position of Long Haul Truck Driver. Visa sponsorship may be considered for the right candidate, including options for both local and overseas applicants.

Job Details

• Location: 5920 – 68 Street S.E., Calgary, AB
• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $36.00 hourly, 32 to 44 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent employment, Full time
• Special Commitments: Overtime may be required, flexible hours
• Vacancies: 2

Responsibilities

• Plan or adjust routes using navigation devices to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
• Address customer complaints and concerns professionally.
• Coach colleagues on new methods or work techniques.
• Arrange travel and make related reservations.
• Drive as part of a team.
• Load and unload goods.
• Inspect vehicle condition and perform necessary maintenance.
• Transport and handle dangerous goods safely.

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Experience: Will train.
• Credentials: Driver’s License (Class 1 or A).
