Job Details

• Location: Calgary, AB
• Work Location: On-site
• Salary: $36.50/hour for 40 to 50 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
• Special Commitments: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, On call, Overtime available
• Vacancies: 2

Responsibilities

• Address customers’ complaints or concerns
• Coach colleagues on new methods or work techniques
• Mountain driving expertise
• Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
• Load and unload goods
• Obtain special permits for transporting cargo internationally
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks
• Inspect vehicle condition and perform maintenance
• Record cargo information and relay to central dispatch
• Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: Experience an asset
• Language: English required

Credentials

• Air Brakes Endorsement
• Driver’s License (Class 1 or A)

Additional Information

• Valid passport required
• Willing to travel cross-border and internationally
• Attention to detail; capable of handling heavy loads
• Must possess a cellular phone
