Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our transportation team. This position involves operating heavy-duty trucks over long distances to deliver freight safely and on time to destinations across state or national lines. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, dependable, and committed to providing excellent service while adhering to all DOT regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate tractor-trailer combinations (typically 53’ dry van, reefer, or flatbed) over long distances.
  • Safely transport goods to various locations across state lines and/or country borders.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of vehicle and cargo.
  • Plan routes and meet delivery schedules while complying with hours-of-service regulations.
  • Secure cargo properly using appropriate equipment.
  • Maintain accurate logs using ELD (Electronic Logging Device) systems.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and maintenance teams.
  • Adhere to all federal, state, and company regulations regarding transportation safety.
  • Perform minor truck maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly.

    • Qualifications:

  • Valid CDL Class A license (required).
  • Clean driving record with long-haul experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and Hours-of-Service rules.
  • Ability to pass DOT physical, drug test, and background check.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Must be comfortable being away from home for extended periods.
  • Experience with refrigerated or hazardous materials preferred.
