Overview

Our client is seeking a dedicated live-in caregiver for individuals with disabilities, with duties extending to senior care. We welcome applications from international candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit. Visa sponsorship may be considered for the right candidate.

Job Details

• Location: Edmonton, AB
• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $20.00 to $21.00 hourly (To be negotiated); 40 to 45 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time

Responsibilities

• Care for pets.
• Administer medications.
• Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene.
• Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walks.
• Feed or assist in feeding.
• Launder clothing and household linens.
• Mend clothing and linens.
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• Plan therapeutic diets and menus.
• Provide companionship and personal care.
• Shop for food and household supplies.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
• Cook.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience: Prior experience is an asset.
• Languages: Proficiency in English.
