Job Overview

Our client is seeking a Line Cook for their restaurant in Toronto, ON. This position offers potential visa sponsorship for international candidates, with support for candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Job Details

• Location: Toronto, ON
• Work Setting: On site
• Salary: $17.20 hourly for 30 hours per week
• Employment Type: Permanent, Full time
• Shift Commitments: Weekend, Shift

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
• Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
• Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by dietitian or chef
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas
• Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
• Order supplies and equipment
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
• Clean kitchen and work areas

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
• Languages: English
