Licensed Practical Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking Licensed Practical Nurses to join our team in Qualicum Beach, B.C. This position offers the potential for LMIA sponsorship to qualified international applicants!

Shifts

Full-time shifts available: 06:30-14:30, 14:30-22:30, 22:30-06:30.

Responsibilities

• Resident admissions, discharges, and transfers
• Conducting resident assessments and care planning
• Administration of medications, treatments, and wound care
• Working with electronic documentation (PointClickCare) and MDS Assessments
• Liaising with physicians, families, and other members of the care team
• Delegating tasks to unregulated care providers
• Participating in Care Conferences and Medication reviews

Qualifications

• Registered and in good standing with BCCNM
• Current CPR/First Aid Certificate
• Competency in electronic documentation and eMar
• Fluency in English, both verbal and written
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
• Previous experience in Long Term Care preferred
• Proof of full vaccination required
