As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will be part of an interprofessional health care team, utilizing nursing processes, critical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making skills. You will be guided by your education, experience, demonstrated skill level, and our policies and procedures. Your key role will involve providing safe, quality, patient and family-centered care while reflecting our shared vision and values.

• Minimum Salary: $27.58
• Maximum Salary: $36.13

Required Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program.
• Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA).
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support – Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience working in the Acute Care setting.
• 1-2 years of Emergency experience.
• Completion of a cardiac lead interpretation course.
• Completion of a Direct Administration course.
• Training in cardiac rhythm interpretation.
• Experience with CVAD.
• Up to date with LPN courses and ability to work to your full scope of practice.
• Ability to work on your feet for long periods.
• Ability to work independently and within a team setting.
• Effective communication skills across all healthcare disciplines.
• Ability to follow the policies and procedures.
• Up to date with “It’s Your Move” and Mask Fit testing.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CTAS preferred.
• CVAD experience.
• Wound Care experience.
• Rural Nurse Connect Care Training.
