Your Opportunity:The HCA Supervisor ensures clients receive evidence-based care from competent HCAs and that care is planned and delivered consistently according to the relevant policies and procedures. Reporting to the Clinical Operations Manager, the HCA Supervisor has 4 key responsibilities:

  • Organize and support services to Home Care clients

    • Travel across the designated zone will be required. This position will be based out of the Fort Saskatchewan office but will provide support to home care’s Suburban/Rural East team, including travel to other home care network offices as needed.

    Description:As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you are part of an interprofessional health care team utilizing nursing processes, critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making skills. You will be guided by your education, experience, demonstrated skill level, and applicable policies and procedures. You will play a key role in providing safe, quality patient and family-centered care while reflecting shared vision and values.

    Required Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program
  • Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support – Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP)

    • Additional Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years leadership experience required

  • Previous experience working in a home care and/or community care environment
  • Computer literacy and experience with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook
