Join Our Client as a Licensed Practical Nurse

We are dedicated to enhancing care in the community, helping people be healthy, well, and independent in their homes and communities. Our client provides services through various program areas, including Home Living, Supportive Living, Facility Living, Transition Services, and Palliative Care. We are looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Home Living team to deliver professional support services to clients of all ages and stages of life.

About the Role

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides safe and effective nursing care according to our client’s policies and nursing care standards. Working within the full scope of practice, the LPN observes, monitors, reports, and documents changes in the client’s physical, mental, and emotional state. The LPN also assists clients with activities of daily living and offers relevant information and teaching to clients and their families. You will collaborate as a member of the healthcare team to deliver consistent quality care that meets clients’ needs.

• Hours per Shift: 7.75
• Shift Pattern: Days, Evenings, Weekends
• Minimum Salary: $27.58
• Maximum Salary: $36.13
• Vehicle Requirement: Driver’s License, Vehicle Required

Required Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program.
• Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA).
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support – Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Additional Required Qualifications

• Ability to balance various demands and conflicting priorities.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Effective problem-solving in complex environments.
• Strong communication and assessment skills, with a compassionate and caring attitude.
• Attention to detail and proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as an LPN.
• Experience in Continuing Care.
• Palliative care experience.
• Experience with Connect Care.
