As an LPN, your primary responsibilities include:

• Applying nursing knowledge, skills, and judgment to assess patient needs and provide nursing care.
• Performing restricted activities in accordance with the design of work and patient population needs.
• Participating in continuing competence through professional development and education programs.
• Adhering to the Professional Practice Standards and Code of Ethics.
• Ensuring current and valid registration within the scope of practice defined by relevant regulatory bodies.

• Minimum Salary: $27.58
• Maximum Salary: $36.13

Required Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program.
• Active or eligible for registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA).
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support – Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

• BCLS certification issued from the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada (HSFC) only.
• Able to meet physical demands involving periods of standing, bending, walking, and lifting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Depth and breadth of nursing knowledge reflective of education.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Compassionate attitude demonstrating respect and dignity for all persons.
• Experience in collaborative practices and medicine.
