Job Overview

Our client is seeking a Kitchen Supervisor to manage kitchen operations. Visa sponsorship may be considered, allowing international applicants to apply with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

• Location: 65 Peninsula suite box 1408, Marathon, ON, P0T 2E0
• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $18.20 hourly, 32 to 40 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
• Special Commitments: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend

Education and Experience

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
• Languages: English

Responsibilities

• Establish methods to meet work schedules
• Requisition food and kitchen supplies
• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
• Estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
• Ensure food and service meet quality control standards
• Prepare budget and cost estimates
• Address customers’ complaints or concerns
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
• Supervise and check assembly of trays
• Establish work schedules

• Supervising 1 to 2 people
