Kitchen Manager Position

Job Details

• Location: 7680 Markham Rd, Markham, ON, L3S 4S1
• Salary: $34.50 per hour, 40 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full time
• Overtime: Required, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend available

Responsibilities

• Establish methods to meet work schedules
• Requisition food and kitchen supplies
• Supervise and coordinate activities of food preparation staff
• Train staff in job duties and sanitation and safety procedures
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
• Address customer complaints
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
• Prepare budget and cost estimates
• Organize and maintain inventory
• Participate in marketing plans and implementation
• Conduct performance reviews and recruit staff
• Monitor staff performance and revenues

Work Setting

Restaurant – Fast-paced environment. All work must be completed on-site.

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
• Languages: English
