Our client is hiring for the position of kitchen manager. We accept applications from Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary residents of Canada, as well as other candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit. Visa sponsorship may be considered for the right candidate.

Job Details

• Location: 904 – Old Hope Princeton Way, Hope, BC, V0X 1L4
• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $20.00 per hour, 30 to 35 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent employment, Full time
• Vacancies: 2 vacancies

Responsibilities

• Establish methods to meet work schedules
• Requisition food and kitchen supplies
• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
• Address customers’ complaints or concerns
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
• Prepare and submit reports
• Establish work schedules

Requirements

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years preferred
• Languages: English
• Work Conditions: Work under pressure
• Personal Suitability: Client focus, Team player
• Supervision: 3-4 people
