Job Overview

Our client is seeking a Kitchen Helper to join their team. We are open to applications from other candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit. Visa sponsorship may be considered for the right candidate.

Job Details

• Location: Orillia, ON
• Work Location: On-site
• Salary: $17.50 per hour / 35 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units.
• Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
• Place dishes in storage area.
• Package take-out food.
• Portion and wrap foods.
• Serve customers at counters or buffet tables.
• Clean and sanitize the kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
• Remove kitchen garbage and trash.
• Sharpen kitchen knives.

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Languages: English.
• Experience: Will train.

Work Environment

• Fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail.
• Public transportation is available.
• Team player.
