Job Overview

Our client is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Helper for a fast-paced work environment. This position offers opportunities for candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit, as immigration support may be provided for qualified applicants.

• Location: Brampton, ON
• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $17.20 to $19.55 hourly (To be negotiated)
• Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
• Special Commitments: Early morning, Morning, Evening, Weekend, Shift

Responsibilities

• Bring clean dishes, flatware, and other items to serving areas and set tables.
• Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
• Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
• Place dishes in storage area.
• Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas.
• Portion and wrap foods.
• Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
• Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
• Remove kitchen garbage and trash.
• Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
• Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit.

Work Environment

• Fast-paced environment.

• Standing for extended periods.
• Work under pressure.

Qualifications

• Languages: English
• Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
• Experience: 1 to less than 7 months preferred.
• Personal Suitability: Reliability, team player, ability to multitask, initiative.
