- Salary: $18.00 to $20.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 40 to 45 hours per week

Overview

- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Responsibilities
- Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs
- Prepare pre-qualification submissions to present to clients
- Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements
- Prepare elemental format estimates (Classes B, C, D)
- Prepare estimates for general expenses and overheads
- Create and submit estimate reports, quote sheets, and bids forms
- Utilize quantity take-off procedures
- Set up cost monitoring and reporting systems
- Monitor and adjust contract expenditures
- Liaise with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors on cost estimates
- Estimate cost of projects
