Job Overview

Our client is seeking an Information Technology (IT) Security Specialist. This position is hybrid, allowing for both in-person and remote work.

• Salary: $48.50 hourly / 30 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Confer with clients to identify requirements.
• Document technical requirements to ensure products, processes and solutions meet business needs.
• Design, develop, and implement information systems business solutions.
• Provide advice on information systems strategy, policy, management, and service delivery.
• Develop policies, procedures, and contingency plans to minimize the effects of security breaches.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews on software products and information systems.
• Perform usability testing, security tests, and quality controls.

Qualifications

• Education: College/CEGEP
• Experience: 1 to 2 years in a similar role.
• Languages: English

Technical Skills

• Networking software and security
• Extranet and Internet
• Servers, Python, MS SQL Server
• Software quality assurance

• Accurate and detail-oriented
• Client-focused with excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong oral communication and analytical skills
