Job Overview

Our client is seeking an IT (Information Technology) Consultant. This role includes the opportunity for visa sponsorship and support for overseas candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Job Details

• Location: Mississauga, ON
• Work Location: On-site
• Salary: $46.00 hourly / 35 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent employment, Full time

Job Responsibilities

• Confer with clients to identify requirements.
• Document technical requirements to ensure that products, processes, and solutions meet business requirements.
• Design, develop, and implement information systems business solutions.
• Provide advice on information systems strategy, policy, management, and service delivery.
• Assess physical and technical security risks to data, software, and hardware.
• Develop policies, procedures, and contingency plans to minimize the effects of security breaches.
• Resolve conflict situations.
• Conduct usability testing and operate testing equipment to ensure product quality.
• Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support.
• Execute and document results of software application tests and information and telecommunication systems tests.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years in project implementation and IT service delivery.
• Languages: English

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
• Client focus and strong team player qualities are essential.
