Responsibilities

• Test electrical and electronic equipment for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance
• Maintain, repair, install, and test switchgear, transformers, and other related components
• Maintain, repair, and install electrical motors, generators, and control systems
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and electronic control systems
• Interpret electrical code specifications
• Conduct preventive maintenance and keep maintenance records
• Read and interpret drawings and schematics for installation layouts
