Job Overview

Our client is looking for a Human Resources Generalist. This role offers visa sponsorship for qualified applicants, including those with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

• Location: Aldergrove, BC

• Salary: $41.00 per hour / 30 to 40 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Term or contract, Full time

Responsibilities

• Administer staff consultation and grievance procedures
• Coordinate HR activities to meet organizational goals
• Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate HR policies and programs
• Plan, develop, and implement recruitment strategies
• Manage contracts and training/development strategies
• Oversee analysis of employee data
• Respond to employee questions and complaints
• Liaise with management, union officials, and HR consultants
• Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures
• Oversee payroll administration
• Recruit and hire staff
• Conduct performance reviews

Qualifications

• Languages: English
• Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate/diploma (1-2 years) in Human Resources Management
• Experience: Experience is an asset

Computer and Technology Knowledge

• MS Excel
• MS PowerPoint
• MS Word
