Job Overview

Our client is seeking a Housekeeping Manager for their hotel, motel, and resort setting. Visa sponsorship may be available for the right candidate, including candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Job Details

• Location: 1818 Mountain Ave, Canmore, AB, T1W 2W1
• Salary: $40,000 to $50,000 annually (To be negotiated)
• Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full time
• Vacancy: 1 vacancy

Responsibilities

• Select and purchase equipment and supplies
• Plan and co-ordinate activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews
• Co-ordinate inspection of assigned areas
• Supervise staff
• Co-ordinate contract services
• Prepare budgets and payrolls
• Supervise maintenance and repair services
• Maintain inventory of supplies, equipment, and uniforms
• Schedule and assign duties of housekeeping staff
• Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
• Prepare and submit reports
• Establish work schedules and procedures
• Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments
• Co-ordinate, assign and review work
• Assist clients/guests with special needs
• Requisition materials and supplies
• Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies
• Maintain operation of computer systems, equipment, machinery, and arrange repair work
• Perform same duties as workers supervised

Qualifications

• Education: College/CEGEP
• Languages: English
• Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
