Job Overview

Our client is seeking a Hotel Managing Supervisor for their establishment in Sydney, NS. This role offers potential visa sponsorship for international applicants, including support for candidates with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Job Details

• Location: Sydney, NS

• Salary: $25.00 per hour, based on 32 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time

Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments
• Establish work schedules and procedures
• Perform same duties as workers supervised
• Prepare and submit reports
• Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
• Assist clients/guests with special needs
• Co-ordinate, assign, and review work
• Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies
• Maintain operation of computer systems, equipment, and machinery, arranging repair work as necessary
• Requisition materials and supplies

Supervision

• Supervise a team of 5-10 people

Required Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 1 to less than 2 years in a relevant role
• Languages: Proficiency in English
