Job Overview
Our client is seeking a dedicated home support worker to provide essential care and companionship to clients in their own homes. Visa sponsorship may be considered for international applicants, including those with or without a valid Canadian work permit.
Job Details

- Work Location: On site
- Salary: $16.10 per hour, 40 hours per week
- Terms of Employment: Term or contract, Full time
- Special Commitments: Early morning, Evening, Flexible hours

Responsibilities
- Administer bedside and personal care
- Administer medications
- Assist clients with bathing and personal hygiene
- Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walking
- Change non-sterile dressings
- Feed or assist in feeding
- Launder clothing and household linens
- Mend clothing and linens
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- Plan therapeutic diets and menus
- Provide companionship
- Shop for food and household supplies
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals
- Cook
Qualifications
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
- Languages: English
- Certificates: CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate, Health Care Aide Certificate, Personal Support Worker Certificate
