Our client is seeking a home renovator to join their team. Immigration support may be provided for qualified applicants, making this an excellent opportunity for international candidates.

Job Details

• Location: Beloeil, QC
• Work Setting: On site
• Salary: $35.00 per hour / 30 hours per week
• Employment Type: Permanent, Full time
• Supervision: 5-10 people

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare work schedules
• Select and employ trade subcontractors and co-ordinate their activities
• Inspect subcontractors’ work to ensure quality and conformity with plans and specifications
• Plan and manage budgets
• Recruit, hire and supervise staff and/or volunteers
• Train staff
• Develop and implement business plans
• Develop and implement financial and operating plans
• Prepare estimates and bids for home construction, renovation and restoration projects
• Work with customers, architects and engineers regarding plans and specifications
• Prepare and maintain directory of supplies and trade contractors
• Develop and implement health and safety plans
• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations

Qualifications

• Education: College/CEGEP or equivalent experience
• Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
• Languages: French (Spanish is an asset)

• Transportation/Travel: Valid driver’s license; vehicle supplied by employer
