Job Overview

Our client is seeking a home child care provider to assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents. Visa sponsorship is available, including options for overseas candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

• Salary: $30.00 to $35.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 30 hours per week

Education and Experience

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Responsibilities

• Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
• Shop for food and household supplies
• Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties
• Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens
• Bathe, dress and feed infants and children
• Discipline children according to methods requested by parents
• Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
• Organize activities such as games and outings for children
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals
• Supervise and care for children, including transportation to and from school and appointments
• Tend to emotional well-being of children
• Help children with homework
• Cook
