Our client seeks a Home Child Care Provider located in Burnaby, BC. Visa sponsorship may be considered, providing opportunities for overseas candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Job Details

• Location: Burnaby, BC
• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $19.00 to $20.00 hourly (To be negotiated)
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
• Work Hours: 30 to 35 hours per week
• Vacancies: 1

Responsibilities

• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
• Shop for food and household supplies
• Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children
• Supervise and care for children
• Launder clothing and household linens
• Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk
• Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: Will train
• Languages: English
• Certificates: First Aid Certificate

Additional Information

• Security and Safety: Criminal record check
• Work Environment: Non-smoking, Employer’s home
• Physical Capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling
• Weight Handling: Between 45 and 60 kg (100-132 lbs)
• Personal Suitability: Client focus
