Our client is seeking a Herd Attendant with some duties as an Animal Husbandry Foreman/Woman. Visa sponsorship is available for international candidates.

Job Details

• Location: Carnduff, SK
• Salary: $28.00 to $33.00 per hour (To be negotiated)
• Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time
• Vacancies: 3

Language Requirements

English

Education & Experience

• College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years in Animal/Livestock Husbandry and Production or equivalent experience
• 2 years to less than 3 years of experience required

Work Environment

• Beef cattle ranching and farming, including feedlots
• All weather conditions
• Rural area with staff accommodation available

Responsibilities

• Diagnose livestock health issues
• Handle animals and monitor animal health
• Treat livestock health issues and maintain quality control
• Supervise breeding and livestock-related programs
• Feed and tend to animals
