Job Overview

Our client is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to join their team. Visa sponsorship may be considered for qualified candidates.

Job Details

• Location: Various locations including Port Coquitlam, BC and Delta, BC
• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $36.60 per hour, 35 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent employment, Full time
• Special Commitments: Flexible hours
• Vacancies: 6 positions available

Education and Experience Requirements

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant experience
• Languages: English

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment
• Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks
• Understand the purpose, proper usage and information found on material safety data sheets (MSDS)
• Complete onboard and other logs
• Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment
• Secure special attachments to equipment
• Perform minor repairs to equipment
